‘The Mayhem Ball’ will be held on 28th, 29th and 31st October.
Seven years after her last visit, Lady Gaga returns to Spain in a way only she knows how: with excess, theatricality and unstoppable force. Barcelona will surrender for three nights to her global tour “The Mayhem Ball”, which has marked a turning point in the history of pop music.
The Palau Sant Jordi will be the only Spanish venue on this tour, and tickets – more than 53,000 – sold out in a matter of hours. What began with two scheduled dates ended up becoming a historic triple bill, with the third date coinciding with Halloween night, the perfect excuse for little monsters.
Two and a quarter hours of gothic, theatrical and raw entertainment, divided into five acts. This is how The Mayhem Ball will be presented, where the queen of pop will alternate between light and darkness, and there will be blood, bridal veils, tombs, ghosts and lots of costumes. More than twenty dancers will accompany her in choreographies that move between performance and theatre, in a staging that borders on the cinematic.
The show presents the new album, Mayhem, which racked up more than 240 million plays in its first week and has once again placed Gaga at the centre of global musical conversation. A studio album that blends influences ranging from funk to glam rock, synth-pop to decadent disco. Of course, there will be no shortage of big hits such as “Poker Face”, “Bad Romance”, “Judas” and “Born This Way”.
The excitement will spread throughout Barcelona, with after-parties at venues such as Apolo and Upload, which will celebrate the superstar’s visit throughout the night.
