Defined by the company itself as “a smart home hub on the move”, the robot is powered by artificial intelligence.
With an eye on the future, and with just over a week to go until CES 2024 – the world’s biggest tech event – LG reveals what it has been working on over the past year. With the idea of establishing a “home without work”, the company has developed a smart robot with autonomous movement and facial and voice recognition. Its aim is simple: to perform household chores and provide useful information and reminders, as well as execute commands, measure temperature, humidity and air quality, among other functions.
In addition, it incorporates Qualcomm‘s RB5 robotic chip, cameras, speakers and sensors that allow it to act as a pet guide, security guard and monitor any kind of unusual activity.
“Our innovative Artificial Intelligence agent for the home combines cutting-edge autonomous mobility technologies with advanced communication capabilities and services to help free customers from household chores. As a smart living solutions company, LG will continue to help customers experience a more enjoyable life at home,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company.
And speaking of technology… Tommy Hilfiger to launch ‘FashionVerse’, an AI-powered fashion game.
