As part of the second chapter of Community as a Form of Research, the brand presents a third portrait of the iconic Oasis frontman.
This garment, which was crowned the jewel of the Stone Island AW ‘992-‘993 collection, stands out for being made of shiny trilobate nylon with a special PVC coating that gives it an unmistakable shiny and translucent finish.
The campaign image, which was unveiled on September 3 alongside the Stone Island AW ‘024-‘025 collection, is part of a larger series celebrating key figures in the community such as Peggy Gou and Philippe Starck from universes as diverse as music, sports, art and in-between spaces.
Photographer David Sims captures the essence of each of these members through intimate portraits under the creative direction of Ferdinando Verderi and styled by Max Pearmain.
