Chanel’s latest campaign featuring Bag 2022 stars Lily-Rose Depp, Margaret Qualley and Whitney Peak. Through different stories that reveal the lesser-known facets of the celebrities, we discover the maison’s new accessory.
Directed by Inez y Vinoodh, the story is divided into three parts. First, the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradise recounts in third person the hours she spends with the Chanel Bag while presenting two versions of the bag: black and white. Whitney Peak poses with the pink iteration while narrating to her friend how she experienced her previous night.
Margaret Qualley‘s voiceover takes over the third stage, which pays homage to nature and invites us to enjoy the present. This act features a tote version of the bag as well as a backpack in different shades.
Created by Virginie Viardand presented for the first time during the Spring/Summer 2022 fashion show, the Chanel Bag 22 brings spiritual and mental freedom to women, just as Gabrielle Chanel wished.
