Lisa has asked the judge to dissolve the marriage, almost 2 years after they announced their separation.
According to new court documents filed by the American actress and obtained by TMZ, Bonet has indicated that the date of separation was October 7, 2020, implying that they have been separated longer than we expected. The couple married in 2017, so they enjoyed approximately three years of marriage.
As for custody of their two youngest children, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf, Lisa Bonet is seeking joint physical and legal custody. There is no mention of any request for spousal support from either the actress or Momoa, suggesting that they may have a prenuptial agreement in place, as their separate property and assets are “agreed between the parties”.
This is the second marriage for Bonet, who was previously married to Lenny Kravitz and had a daughter with him, actress and singer Zoe Kravitz. This is Momoa’s first marriage. After 16 years together, 8 married and 8 as boyfriend and girlfriend, the couple have decided to separate their lives. It is rumoured that it could be because they have different views on raising their children.
