“I have imagined this collection thinking of people who walk through a London gallery in the 1960s and walk through their spaces as individuals but at the same time have something in common that is the idea of creating things, of experimenting,” said Jonathan Anderson. Loewe SS19 was exactly that, a proposal in which the importance of the individual came first as a concept.
A mix of elegance and classicism mixed with simple patterns in which ‘oversize’ contrasted with the lightness of some of the fabrics. The colour palette moved between earth, oranges, whites, greens and blues, all supported by the fluid silhouettes that Anderson had designed for Loewe.

Big accessories such as bags or XXL sunglasses – which Rick Owens also put on the catwalk yesterday – and boots on his feet, put the perfect end to a proposal that can be summed up in a “celebration of beauty and sensuality“.
