LOEWE SS26: the artisanal excellence of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernández

The debut of the creative duo, who took the reins of the Maison following Jonathan Anderson’s departure, has been acclaimed by the industry.

Expectations were sky high, and Jack and Lázaro did not disappoint. Entering the world of LOEWE is no easy feat, and it means accepting a pact with the artisan tradition of its history: more than 180 years dedicated to savoir-faire and a deeply Spanish identity. But this tradition is not seen as a burden, but rather as a creative impulse towards the future of the House. And the question that runs through the Spring/Summer 2026 women’s collection is none other than how to redefine craftsmanship in a hyperconnected present.

The answer has come through a narrative that shuns the obvious, where the duo proposes an exercise in formal and sensory refinement, a visual language where silhouettes become sculptural, sportswear is conceived as desire, and leather—LOEWE‘s natural territory—speaks from the archives and roots, but updated to today’s Spain.

The show was built around an intense and vibrant colour palette, inspired by Ellsworth Kelly‘s Yellow Panel with Red Curve. This piece serves as a visual and conceptual catalyst: minimalist geometry that concentrates sensuality, energy and a captivating force that connects with the spirit of the Maison.

Among those attending the show were Pedro Almodóvar, Milena Smit, Judeline, Priscilla Delgado, Emma Chamberlain and Emily Ratajkoswki, who did not want to miss this historic moment in the history of LOEWE.
