Lola and Grazy are the Red Bull BC One national champions

Last Saturday, July 8, Red Bull BC One turned the Plaza de Juan Goytisolo in Madrid into a dance floor full of energy.

This competition, in a one-on-one format, is considered the most prestigious breakdance competition in the world. Participants demonstrated their skills in moves such as frezees, flips, headspins and flares, among others.

The Red Bull BC One National Final, which brought together 1,500 people in the Madrid square, began at 7:30 p.m. with the 16 B-Boys and 8 B-Girls competing for the title. The jury formed by B-Boy Yung, B-Girl Mimz and B-Boy Ronnie had the responsibility of choosing the winners. DJ Ladyfunk was in charge of providing the beats to liven up the competition.

B-Boys Grazy and Assassin Cris and B-Girls Lola and Estrella made their way to the final battle. In the end, Lola became the national champion after getting the win against Estrella, while Grazy won against Assassin Cris.

Next stop is Paris, where the world’s best exponents of urban dance will go head-to-head. For its 20th anniversary, the competition will transform the Roland-Garros Stadium in Paris on October 21 into the biggest Cypher ever seen. In this event, only one breaker in each category, male and female, will win the coveted international title, leaving the name of this exciting discipline on high.
