Stylist and fashion consultant Lotta Volkova, known for her work with Vetements, has partnered with adidas Originals on a shoe and clothing collection. Together they have reinterpreted the adidas archives giving the selected pieces a contemporary look.
Among the most outstanding pieces is the transformation of the iconic adilette sandal that Volkova turns into a platform mule (from now highly coveted) inspired by the styles of the 70s and early 80s.
With black-red and red-white colors, the novel proposal retains the adidas Trefoil logo and the three stripes on the strap. Also in footwear, the adidas SL72 shoe is re-imagined in two versions: an all-white and a red-white-blue.
The Lotta Volkova x adidas Originals collection is launched on August 13 on the website of selected adidas and retailers.
