The creative director of the Maison‘s men’s line proposes the definitive fusion between timeless elegance and the sport/lifestyle style that characterises the contemporary era. The result is a proposal that stands as a renewal of the classic, with sharp cuts and significant details such as the embroidered LV monogram or pinstripe patterns reminiscent of the house’s graphic DNA.
Beyond office suits, ‘New Formal’ goes into the realm of luxury athleisure in the style of Pharrell Williams, who knows how to mix technical materials with couture elements with absolute dexterity. This experimentation is reflected, for example, in a quilted black waistcoat that represents the modern Louis Vuitton man, in the long coats with a checked collar and zip, or in the blouses with leather details that refer to the nomadic spirit.
However, the key point of the collection is the eveningwear, where a real explosion of sophistication emerges. Sleek black designs are covered with sparkling sequins that give new life to the classic suit. The chevron blouse or black bow shirts matched with slim-fit trousers evoke the elegance of the catwalks without forgetting street style.
