The Louis Vuitton SS26 show took place in the former summer apartments of Anne of Austria at the Louvre. The setting reinforced the idea of bringing the “indoor” wardrobe into the public sphere.

This collection explored the relationship between comfort and precision. Loungewear references were combined with flawless tailoring, creating a versatile wardrobe suitable for both home and outside. Silks, robes and relaxed silhouettes coexisted with structured jackets and leather pieces. Each garment reflected personal autonomy in the way it is worn.

For accessories, Vuitton focused on small trunks and playful handbags. Footwear mainly consisted of loafers and ankle boots, often paired with visible socks, emphasising an elevated everyday aesthetic.

Marie Anne Derville’s set design strengthened the narrative. She created a contemporary apartment using furniture and artworks from different eras, including pieces by Robert Wilson, Georges Jacob, Michel Dufet and Pierre Adrien Dalpayrat. Cate Blanchett’s recitation of lines from Talking Heads’ This Must Be the Place added a reflective tone to the presentation.

Among the attendees were the maison’s ambassadors and muses, including Zendaya, Emma Stone, Lisa and Jaden Smith. Their presence confirmed Louis Vuitton SS26 as a meeting point between fashion, personality and global presence.
