The spirit of travel and the desire to discover extraordinary natural sites and masterpieces of architecture and art are intrinsic qualities of Louis Vuitton’s DNA. That is why the Cruise 2024 runway show will be held at Isola Bella, a baroque art treasure on the waters of Lake Maggiore.
Isola Bella, together with Palazzo Borromeo and its gardens, is one of the most renowned examples of Italian baroque style. Its geometry, its shapes and its lines are in an incomparable dialogue with Lake Maggiore and its crystalline waters.
Now, after 400 years under the rule of the Borromeo family, Louis Vuitton is the first fashion house to organise a fashion show in such an exclusive location on 24 May.
A paradisiacal enclave that adds to Louis Vuitton‘s great track record, which includes John Lautner’s Bob and Dolores Hope residence in Palm Springs (2015); Oscar Niemeyer’s MAC in Niteroi (2016); Ieoh Ming Pei’s Miho Museum in Kyoto (2017); or Eero Saarinen’s TWA Flight Center at New York’s JFK airport (2019).
