This appointment not only redefines the direction of the Italian house, but also reinforces its commitment to a modern and culturally relevant vision.

Following the departure of Matthieu Blazy, who is now preparing to write his next chapter at Chanel, Louise Trotter will take the reins of creative direction with a promise to maintain her commitment to excellence and explore new creative possibilities.

With a track record that includes redefining the sporty essence at Lacoste and reimagining the classic at Joseph, the designer is ‘honoured to join Bottega Veneta’ and is excited to ‘contribute to its future while celebrating its timeless vision’. From Carven, where she has been at the helm since 2023, to this new stage, her career has always been marked by a sophisticated approach deeply connected to contemporary design.

The Louise Trotter era at Bottega Veneta promises to be an exercise in style and cultural vision. As the world watches the next chapters unfold, one thing is clear: luxury continues to redefine itself, and the Italian house remains at the forefront of this change.
