The collection, designed by Pharrell Williams, offers a complete transitional wardrobe.
Timeless, high-end and meticulously crafted, LV Trunk Edition is based on effortless elegance. The name is no coincidence, as it pays tribute to the Maison‘s first creation: the canvas trunk made in 1854 by Louis Vuitton. And, like that founding object, this line embodies the enduring savoir-faire and sophistication that define the heart of the House.
Designed to accompany travel, the collection blends heritage and pragmatism. The garments and accessories are designed to move naturally between day and night, from the countryside to the city, from work to leisure. The silhouette is modern and casual, but with an air of implicit formality. Discreet expressions, meticulously crafted for mid-season wear, unfold in a sober palette of beiges, blues, browns and blacks. Each piece features a leather-inspired label, engraved with an inscription that encapsulates the spirit of permanence of the Trunk Edition.
The sartorial proposal captures the essence of the line with contemporary ease, offering suits in breathable silk and wool canvas that balance durability and elegance; silk and cashmere blend versions that provide lightness and refinement; and double-faced wool and cashmere blazers, unlined, for a flexible and lightweight fit.
The urban dimension is expressed in a double-faced silk field jacket, a double-faced brushed cashmere coat and a workwear-inspired jacket in a water-repellent wool blend. Versatile shirts include lightweight cotton and silk chambray with a soft feel, as well as lightweight cashmere and silk twill with multiple stripes for sophisticated layering. A casual suit consisting of an overshirt and matching trousers in double-faced cotton and silk crepe reinforces the contemporary aesthetic. Trousers in double-faced cotton and silk gabardine – lightly brushed for a peach-skin feel – create structured yet elegant lines. Knitwear comes in the form of ribbed cashmere cardigans and jumpers, long- and short-sleeved polo shirts in superfine cashmere, silk and wool blends, or silk and cotton piqué with a Damier motif.
The values of the Trunk Edition are reflected in the LV Touch line of men’s leather goods, based on refined utility and understated design. Crafted from naturally supple grained calf leather and enriched with suede linings and details, the collection elevates the sensory experience of ‘touch’ as a central concept. The traveller codes and workwear attitude are reflected in a tonal suede front pocket with a stitched V design and a V-shaped carabiner that adds a utilitarian and playful touch.
Minimalist yet distinctive, the bags come in black, tan and khaki, with highlights including the Steamer 30, reinterpreted with a new, softened structure; the new reversible Verso Hobo, with a multifunctional hook and removable interior pocket; and the Steamer Backpack and Delta Slingbag, designed for moving from routine to routine.
In terms of footwear, the LV Trunk Edition is completed by three key models: the LV Croisette, a loafer in black or cognac waxed calf leather with a lightweight rubber sole and a half-flower Monogram buckle; the LV Horizon, a flexible slipper with sacchetto construction, available in black or chestnut Buttersoft leather and beige or chestnut nubuck; and the LV Soft, the ultra-flexible suede slip-on sneaker with a rubber sole, elasticated gusseted opening and memory foam insole. It comes in navy blue and grey.
