LVMH and SpaceX could be up to something

According to Bernard Arnault, the luxury conglomerate and the aerospace company could be working on a unique collaboration.

In a recent interview just before the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, Bernard Arnault sat down with CNBC‘s Andrew Ross Sorkin to discuss some important issues such as his involvement in Richemont and possible collaborations between LVHM and other companies such as SpaceX.

Arnault and Elon Musk have a strong relationship of friendship and mutual admiration: ‘I admire a lot what he is doing because I think he is a genius,’ said the French businessman, while praising the success of Tesla and SpaceX. ‘Maybe we will see a Louis Vuitton rocket. We have to think about it,’ he added.

So far, it has not been confirmed that the partnership will take place, but it would not be surprising if the project is announced soon.
