Maison Margiela Chaotic Fusion goes black & silver

Maison Margiela is no stranger to the world of iconoclastic design, especially considering that much of the conceptual vision is what positioned the brand at the forefront of fashion. The luxurious Parisian house re-emphasized its unique approach late last year with the introduction of its new Fusion Sneaker, in which a “chaotic” do-it-yourself and mix of materials took centre stage.

Sewn adhesive tape panels, leather, mesh and even directly applied translucent glue make up one of the new iconic sneakers of today’s scene. Now the sneaker is back in a striking black and silver color.

As is usual with sneakers, the new proposal acquires an “impeccable” look – its adhesive tape panels coexist with various details of mesh and leather, all as if they were spray-painted in a silver tone. Other details include its cordless closure system, painted soles and a rubber outsole.
