ManéMané eclipses MBFW with its latest FW22 collection

On 9 March at 1pm, the H. team had the pleasure of discovering the new ManéMané Autumn/Winter 2022 Pi-r collection.

The latest launch for the FW22 season by Madrid-based ManéMané, founded by designer Miguel Becer, could be seen as a continuation of his experimental and artistic journey to Dar es Salaam. The brand’s creative team travelled to Tanzania to present a joint collaboration with the group of emerging Tanzanian artists MERVKi Collectiv under the name KUKUTANA (“encounters” in Swahili).

Now that enriching experience has been reflected in her presentation for Madrid Fashion Week. During the show we were able to enjoy, together with the coolest people in the capital, the eight looks inspired by the Spanish dress tradition together with the codes of traditional Tanzanian clothing. ManéMané’s iconic aesthetic is reflected through corsets, platforms, genderless skirts and custom blazers.
