Here are this month’s six discoveries – the emerging designers of March 2025 that you need to keep on your radar!
1. Ablondi
ABLONDI was founded in 2024, between London and Parma, by Arianna Ablondi Pedretti, a CSM MA alumna. Dedicated to women, the firm is the textile materialization of a feminist manifesto that fuses fashion, intellect and technique. With a strong Italian artisanal heritage, it collaborates with small local manufacturers for an artisanal and proximity production. Its design combines nostalgic references to second-wave feminism with a high-low approach that challenges notions of sexuality and femininity. Mixing pop and politics, ABLONDI seeks to generate a passionate dialogue about fashion and feminine identity.
2. Boyarovska
BOYAROVSKAYA is a Parisian brand founded in 2017 by Maria Boyarovskaya, former Givenchy and John Galliano designer, and photographer Artem Kononenko. With a minimalist aesthetic, the brand combines deep pleats, elaborate fabrics and dry cuts, achieving pieces that are sophisticated for a woman who steps out in style. In addition, BOYAROVSKAYA shows a strong commitment to sustainability, using recycled materials in its creative process. Since March 2020, it has been presenting its collections at Paris Fashion Week, consolidating itself as one of the brands of the moment.
3. Oscar Ouyang
Oscar Ouyang is a knitwear designer originally from Beijing who studied at Central Saint Martins in London, where he fused his Asian heritage with Western fashion. His work is inspired by nature, anime and social movements. Her graduation collection in 2023 explored influences from pacifist protests and the global crisis. Ouyang specialized precisely at CSM in knitwear, where she sees a space for unlimited creativity and sustainability, preferring handmade over mass production. She is currently working on her new collection with a tartan-influenced aesthetic and an “emo boy” style, while learning to establish her brand.
4. Álvaro Machero
Álvaro Machero molds metals directly on the body, using the moulage technique to create unique and adaptable pieces for each body. His work intertwines rings, chains and asymmetrical structures, achieving an aesthetic reminiscent of the great metallurgist of fashion: Paco Rabanne. More than fashion design as such, his approach is totally artisanal, highlighting the use of metal to create totally glamorous dresses.
5. Paco Fausset
Paco, a 21-year-old designer born in Paris, specialized in leather work after studying at the French Fashion Institute. His collection, “Guido”, explores emotions, sensuality and sexuality, addressing the complexity of existing in an unwelcoming society. Inspired by representations in film and photography, he seeks to translate this discourse into fashion. With his work, Paco gives voice to experiences still little explored in design.
6. Tunne Anh
Tunne Anh Tuấn hasn’t made too much noise yet, but it’s enough to see her 4 “Fashion Projects” on instagram to realize that the designer is going to do great things. Her project number 2, in which she seeks inspiration from an albino crocodile, has captured the attention of international media and fashion insiders. we won’t lose track of her!
