Marine Serre celebrates music in ‘Heartbeat’

Last Sunday Marine Serre held its SS24 fashion show in the heart of Paris where the stars of the show were some of the most recognisable faces in the music industry.

To the rhythm of a powerful heartbeat, the French designer presented her extravagant proposal full of fun and colourful pieces. With music and nightlife as the common thread, the show began: superimpositions of layers, mixtures of fabrics, prints and silhouettes. Teyana Taylor, Noah Cyrus, Sevdaliza or Aron Piper were some of the faces that paraded and wore some of the most outstanding looks of the night.

Crochet, wild animal graphics and Hawaiian hibiscus took over most of the collection, much more cheerful than what Marine Serre is used to. “Everyone always says I’m dystocic, but I just want to be cheerful and optimistic,” says the designer about her proposal.

But the show didn’t end on the catwalk, it ended on the dance floor. As if it were a rave and to the rhythm of Sevdaliza‘s DJ set, we danced until midnight immersed in the lunar universe of ‘Heartbeat’. See you next time!
