Mark Leckey x Supreme is an artistic ode to British subcultures

Mark Leckey‘s work, in which he explores British culture through an emotional framework, is now projected onto Supreme’s sartorial narrative through images from his most representative videos such as ‘Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore’ or ‘1964-1999 AD’.

His artistic practice with which he transforms the ordinary into something extraordinary, examining the relationships between youth, social class, nostalgia or technology, and their impact on society, is immortalized on the garments in collage form, offering us an intimate look at nightclubs, raves or the emerging soul scene of the North.

The collection exhibits in the form of avant-garde pieces two jackets with workwear patterns, a long-sleeved shirt, two pants, oversize graphic T-shirts, as well as a series of neon green skateboards stamped by the artist’s sordid imaginary.

The Mark Leckey x Supreme Fall 2023 collaboration will go on sale worldwide through the streetwear brand on Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. EDT in the United States.
