The iconic Swiss watchmaker continues to rely on the power of music as an emotional and narrative vehicle.

In a universe where Swiss watchmaking merges with the most vibrant contemporary culture, a piece as emotional as it is conceptual emerges from the hands of Mark Ronson and RAYE: “Suzanne”. It was launched at an exclusive event at 180 Studios in London, the epicentre where art, heritage and rhythm intersected.
What began as a creative alliance became an unintentional and poetic tribute to Suzanne Audemars, a key figure in the origins of the House. The name chosen by RAYE resonated emotionally with Ronson, unaware that it would share history with the pioneer who shaped the spirit of Audemars Piguet a century and a half ago. ‘Suzanne’ thus stands as a bridge between generations, a piece that encapsulates the soul of watchmaking and the intensity of a shared artistic process.
“Music is my guiding purpose and drives my passion and dedication to create. I am inspired by artists whose creativity is so alive that their work remains timeless even when they are gone. Creating Suzanne with Mark Ronson has been like a miracle, and discovering the song’s deep connection to the brand’s story has been magical! I couldn’t be prouder to have worked with AP and the iconic Mark Ronson. I really love the song… It’s like it’s all part of a perfect plan,” says RAYE.
To celebrate the release of the song, Audemars Piguet transformed 180 Studios into a kind of time-space capsule, taking attendees from the Vallée de Joux to the creative heart of London. The evening, musically curated by Benji B, unfolded amidst living archives, iconic timepieces and the secret history of a House that has been mastering the art of time for 150 years.
