After two years of silence, Leïti Sène returns with ‘Más Alas’, her first single with Universal Music and the beginning of a new musical cycle. In collaboration with Chilean Polimá Westcoast, this song marks a return full of purpose, with a message that speaks of strength, spirituality and the power of building from the community.
The track is a celebration of the reunion between two artists with parallel careers and a bond that goes beyond music. Leïti and Polimá join their voices in a fresh sound, rooted in soul, funk and afro beats, developed by regular producer Kar Lee (aka Carly). The central phrase of the track, ‘give me wings to see you, more wings to see you’, functions as a spiritual mantra, a call to move forward with faith and purpose.
“I want people listening to this song to feel a sense of depth. We are in a time where everything is aesthetic, everything is about form. I want to reconnect with the message, with something that gives meaning to the chaos we live in”, says Leïti about this new creative stage.
Far from being just a new track, ‘Más Alas’ encapsulates Leïti’s inner journey: an artistic and spiritual transformation. After two years of silence and an intense process of vital and creative growth, Leïti returns with more clarity than ever: with a more conscious approach, and with her label Epiphany (born from the Cutemobb collective), now operating alongside Universal.
To celebrate this release, Leïti Sène and Polimá Westcoast held a free surprise party at Club Malasaña (Madrid) the day before. This celebration was accompanied by DJ sets by AIR + Sita Abellán + Sindicato del Baile.
