Two of the world’s most culturally relevant icons join forces in an exclusive global collaboration.

This is an exclusive collection in which we can not only find the iconic Crocs clogs, themed by McDonald’s, but we can also decorate them with fun Jibbitz – their unmistakable interchangeable accessories. The real stars of the story are not only McDonald’s icons, around whom the collaboration revolves, but also Crocs employees and fans in equal measure, who have had the opportunity to participate in the development of this special campaign.

Leticia, part of the McDonald’s Spain team, has been chosen to participate in the campaign and be the Spanish face of the collaboration, wearing the vibrant red model. We took the opportunity to talk to her about this unique experience and learn first-hand what it’s like to take part in a global McDonald’s campaign.

(H.): How did it feel to be one of the few selected among so many participants?

(L): At first I didn’t believe it. Besides, I found out in a rather peculiar way, as I was watching a live broadcast of the opening of a new restaurant when I got the message, and I thought it was a thank you message. When I read it I threw myself on the kitchen floor. I had no idea that one day my passion for shoes would take me so far. It was a magical moment, full of happiness.

(H.): Why did you decide to participate in the process?

(L): I saw that it was the perfect time to learn, both for my work and for my studies. Working at McDonald’s gives you a lot of flexibility, I combine it with my studies in digital marketing and my passion for fashion, so I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to live something as spectacular as this experience. You never know when it will happen again.

(H.): What was the experience of travelling to Chicago like?

(L): Being able to get to know McDonald’s headquarters, together with so many colleagues from so many different parts of the world and seeing the connection we had from minute one was incredible. Working with such a professional team, that they made everything so easy and above all that you could be yourself when shooting is something that is very much appreciated. This kind of experience fills you up as a person, it makes you grow.
