Miu Miu revolutionizes sneakers with the Tyre

Miu Miu has just launched the Tyre, and let’s just say it: they’re going to be a must-have this season. Inspired by the 90s aesthetic that saw the birth of the fashion brand, these new sneakers land as part of the Prelude Spring/Summer 2025 collection and they couldn’t be more on point. With two versions to choose from – the codone and the ballerina – the Tyre fuses a retro look with a contemporary, trend-setting approach.

The codone version arrives in key colours: Loden green, Cloud grey, Avorio white and a Topazio yellow that’s all you need to stand out. On the other hand, the ballerina silhouette is kept softer, in Nube and Avorio tones, for those who prefer something more subtle but equally sophisticated.

But it’s not just about style. These sneakers have a top design: the upper is made from Italian-woven Tec Fabric, while the natural rubber soles provide flexibility and durability. The name Tyre is no coincidence, as the silhouette aims to replicate the dynamic movement of car tyres, with soles that give you total freedom of movement. Plus, the interior is padded and mouldable, so comfort is as important as style.
