The most unexpected – but now commonplace – fusion between the disruptive aesthetics of MM6 Maison Margiela and the technical know-how of Salomon returns this spring 2025 with a capsule that breaks new ground. The mood? Clothes designed to perform, without giving up the experimental edge that both brands have mastered to perfection.
The unisex proposal once again plays with the codes of activewear, blurring the boundaries between performance and statement fashion. Ultralegerezas, bio fabrics and exaggerated silhouettes that amplify the sport-core attitude in an intelligent way. This new release continues to consolidate the creative synergy between two worlds that seemed to be opposites, but that together, work perfectly.
Among the key pieces: a reinterpreted MA-1 bomber jacket in translucent ripstop – yes, that material that looks like it’s straight out of the future – with reflective detailing that catches the light and the eye. There are also T-shirts with Xerox-like prints around the collar, a sort of arty nod to sneakerhead DNA, and technical jackets in black and jadeite ready to conquer both the tarmac and your Instagram feed.
In footwear, the new Spectur 2, a running silhouette that comes in two vibes: full black for the dark minimalists and translucent ‘Sea Foam Green’ for those who are looking for a fresh look. The XT-4 Mule, meanwhile, is updated in new shades that reaffirm its cult status: yes, there’s an Ultramarine that screams archived but make it fashion. Rounding out the drop are accessories designed for everyday wear: a runner’s cap, baggy ripstop shorts and the now iconic XT-15 backpack.
