‘Moments Like This Never Last’ serves as inspiration for Courrèges FW25

Nicolas Di Felice, artist Dan Colen, and the first Sky High Farm Biennial create a blank page, sprinkled with multicoloured confetti, without clothes or models.

The French fashion house continues to challenge fashion codes with a thought-provoking campaign, where the central reference is “Moments Like This Never Last” (2010), Colen‘s seminal work and a bedside book in Di Felice‘s personal library. The explosion of confetti, reproduced in reverse, becomes a metaphor for both the ephemeral and the persistent. A way of claiming lightness as a force that unites us in turbulent times.

In a context saturated with objects of desire, Courrèges chooses not to show anything tangible. This gesture, laden with meaning, restores advertising’s potential as a blank canvas for hope.

The campaign aligns with the Sky High Farm Biennial (June–September 2025, Germantown, NY), a project led by Colen and the Sky High Farm community that connects art, ecology, and social action. Its inaugural exhibition, “TREES NEVER END AND HOUSES NEVER END”, explores the links between the history of the Hudson Valley and its ecosystem, while raising funds for food sovereignty initiatives and climate solutions.

With this alliance, Courrèges manages to redefine commercial space in a political and poetic gesture.
