Sergio Pérez received the championship trophy designed by the Maison from H.S.H. Prince Albert of Monaco.
Handcrafted in Louis Vuitton‘s historic workshop in Asnières, just outside Paris, the iconic boot reflects the house’s savoir-faire while drawing inspiration from the legacy of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix to celebrate its 80th edition. For this special occasion, the iconic Monogram canvas is dyed red, paying homage to the flag of the city-state. At the same time, two red lines embroidered with a white line form a ‘V’ for Victory that divides the boot into two symmetrical parts.
The unique piece held the trophy representing the 19 corners of the 3.337km circuit, which was presented to Sergio Pérez, winner of the prestigious championship held on 28 May. It is one of Formula 1‘s most exclusive and acclaimed events, hosted by the Automobile Club de Monaco and sponsored by Prince Albert II. Here, as at LV, the values of tradition, transmission and excellence come together for a celebration like no other.
