Moncler Grenoble FW26: the Alpine legacy projected from Alpen

A setting where the mountain was conceived as culture and performance coexisted with elegance.

Over two days of immersive experiences involving skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing, the Moncler community ventured into the Colorado landscape to experience, rather than simply observe, the most authentic dimension of Moncler Grenoble, which is dedicated to the mountains. The culmination came with a night-time fashion show on a snow runway, which guests accessed on snowmobiles through the alpine forest, with light projections dancing among the trees. A cinematic moment symbolising the meeting of two worlds that share the same DNA.

It is no coincidence that this collection looks back to the 1950s. It was at that time that Moncler took its first steps, manufacturing quilted sleeping bags and anoraks for mountain workers, before equipping historic expeditions to some of the most challenging peaks on the planet. At the same time, Aspen was beginning to establish itself as a skiing capital, but also as a cultural epicentre, attracting athletes, architects, writers, bohemians and Hollywood icons. The mountain thus became a meeting point for sport, creativity and lifestyle.

This crossroads is precisely what defines the narrative of Moncler Grenoble FW26: a dialogue between past and future, between European heritage and American mountain culture, between tradition and radically contemporary technicality.

The proposal is built on a convergence of very clear references: the vast landscapes of Colorado, the refined elegance of 1950s America and Moncler‘s long tradition of high performance. All reimagined through sophisticated technical expertise that elevates each piece beyond sportswear.

The aspen leaf—Aspen‘s natural emblem—becomes a recurring motif, appearing in prints, quilting, embroidery, jacquards, three-dimensional knitwear, and laser-cut patterns. It serves as a way to anchor the collection to the territory that inspires it. The colour palette, durable fabrics such as waxed cotton and functional details are born directly from the landscape of the State of Colorado and its changing light and weather conditions.

Echoes of 1950s American fashion permeate the collection with timeless elegance, in the form of defined silhouettes and rounded volumes reinterpreted through down padding. Materials traditionally associated with the era—wool, cotton, natural fibres—are translated into the technical language of Moncler Grenoble, combining protection, warmth and sophistication.

A hand-drawn artistic map of Aspen—featuring its landmarks, wildlife, and rituals—is displayed on scarves, intarsia ski jackets, and cosy blankets. Classic American plaid patterns interact with technical denim, while reinforced shoulders with piping serve a practical purpose by providing support for carrying skis.

Despite its strong aesthetic and narrative component, the essence of Moncler Grenoble remains extreme performance, waterproof constructions, windbreakers and breathable fabrics.
