Moncler x FRGMT: The magic of minimalism by Hiroshi Fujiwara

The Japanese designer, DJ and producer transports us to a universe where the simple becomes the sublime.

Through a subtle lens of sophistication that combines functionality and aesthetics with his unmistakable style, Hiroshi Fujiwara explores the essence of urban fashion and proposes a collection that plays with the paradox of the everyday. Seemingly simple pieces that are reinvented with details that defy expectations: delicate embroidery, numerical graphics and a touch of Y2K nostalgia that recalls the golden age of pop culture.

Every garment in the MONCLER x FRGMT collection bears the imprint of the Japanese master, as his inspiration is omnipresent – especially in the graphics. Cultural references, from art to philosophy, are interwoven in lofty logos, codes and animal figures by Nayeon & Rang, the Korean illustration studio. With quotations from Nietzsche and Aristotle embroidered on matt and glossy garments, the idea is to explore a level that goes beyond the visual.

The ‘Where nothing means everything’ campaign concept comes to life in Richard Wilson‘s ‘Looking Glass’ art installation in Shanghai. The British sculptor transforms the space into a reflection of black nylon itself – a key focus of the collection – creating an atmosphere of reflection and rediscovery.
