For its latest launch, Brooklyn-based art collective MSCHF has distilled the unique scent of WD-40 for its own cologne.
WD-40® is an excellent rust and corrosion protector, extending the life of tools, garden machinery and other metal parts and equipment. Advertised as alcohol (58%) fragrance (48%) water (2%), MSCHF has distilled the unique scent of WD-40 to create its own cologne.
The cologne arrives in the actual colours of the WD-40 bottle. According to YouTuber Casey Neistat, MSCHF’s “Eau de Industrie” actually smells like WD-40 anti-corrosion lubricant spray. “Bottom line, it’s as horrible as you can imagine,” Neistat says in a video posted by MSCHF.
MSCHF WD-40 Cologne sold out quickly on the MSCHF website, but can be found at selected retailers.
