MTV EMAs 2020 | Find out all the details

This edition of MTV EMAS will be a unique show in an exceptional year. For the first time in the history of the MTV EMAs, Hungary will be the great protagonist of the global celebration of music, in an event that will be broadcast exclusively on MTV on Sunday 8 November at 21:00h. The show comes in a very special format, recorded from various locations around the world, and will feature performances by Sam Smith, Maluma or Doja Cat , among many others. In addition, as a prelude to these awards, at 20:00h will start the pre-show of the MTV EMAs 2020.

On the occasion of the 27th edition of one of the most important nights in international music, the #MTVEMA 2020 will bring together fans from their homes, with some of the most popular names in music worldwide. This year, Lady Gaga leads the nominations, followed by BTS and Justin Bieber, while Aitana, Carolina Durante, Don Patricio, La La Love You and Leiva will compete for the award of “Best Spanish Artist“.

Alicia Keys, Sam Smith, Maluma, Doja Cat, DaBaby, David Guetta, YUNGBLUD, Zara Larsson, Karol G, Tate McRae, Jack Harlow and the hosts of the show Little Mix are part of the list of confirmed performances of the MTV EMAs 2020. In addition, the global celebration of music will feature special appearances by DJ Khaled, Lewis Hamilton, Winnie Harlow, Bebe Rexha, Rita Ora, Big Sean, Roman Reigns, Anitta, Madison Beer, Anne-Marie, Aya Nakamura, Barbara Palvin and Raye.
