The first season, which premiered last month, featured 456 contestants from all over England competing for a prize of $4.56 million, setting an all-time record for television competitions.
Despite the success of the reality show, some contestants have voiced their complaints on social media about the harsh conditions during filming. Incidents such as overly long games of “Red Light, Green Light” and on-set injuries, such as hypothermia, have generated debate about on-set practices.
The streaming platform has shared a link for interested parties to sign up as contestants. Applicants have to answer specific questions and submit a one-minute video detailing their “game plan” and how they would use the cash prize.
Separately, McDonald’s is expanding its universe with a new galactic restaurant based on its CosMc’s alien.
