adidas Originals by Wales Bonner presents the new chapter of the collaboration for Spring-Summer 2022.
The designs evoke Wales Bonner’s interest in the music and photography of Burkina Faso in the 70s and 80s and pay homage to the creative energy and individuality of the style. The designer has updated the classic Samba and SL72 that were featured in the duo’s popular FW20 and SS22 launches.
Wales Bonner’s Samba features lace patterns and arrives in an almost reflective metallic tone with cream detailing. In addition, the stitching on the heel, tongue and flap is exposed. The SL72 trainer appears in a mesh-like design. So far, two colour iterations have been revealed in vermillion/chocolate and green/orange.
