Shortly after appearing in an Air Jordan 1 Low with the popular Obsidian UNC colourway and the Nike Swoosh reversed, Travis Scott is photographed again in the same model, but in High. All eyes are on this collaboration, is a new era of Cactus Jack x AJ1 coming?
Currently dubbed as “Cactus Jack Royal”, the mysterious silhouette fuels rumours that La Flame is preparing some kind of Hiroshi Fujiwara collaboration. The Japanese artist, dubbed the “Godfather of Streetwear”. We already know him for designing trainers and clothing for Nike, Jordan, Converse, Levi’s, CLOT and Carhartt WIP, among others.
But we only know about the latest Travis Scott x AJ1 High silhouette from paparazzi images. Trainer expert zSneakerHeadz has put together a rendering of what the shoe would look like in its entirety. The model combines the blue and black of the Jordan Brand’s Obsidian UNC silhouette popularised by Hiroshi Fujiwara.
The Air Jordan 1 High “Cactus Jack Royal” features a “Black Toe” base with “Dark Royal” overlays on the rear and the inverted Swoosh symbol characteristic of the superstar’s designs for the sports brand. To finish off, the silhouette features an off-white rubber outsole that adds further value to the shoe’s design.
