Kim Kardashian closes 2024 with a strategic move that reaffirms her influence in the retail world. SKIMS, her revolutionary brand, opens the doors of its first flagship store in the heart of Manhattan, one of the world’s most iconic shopping destinations.
The new space, which spans more than 600 m2 over four floors, occupies a site with a storied history: it previously housed the Versace boutique for two decades and is located next to the iconic Cartier mansion. The shop not only showcases the SKIMS universe, but also includes a showroom, VIP space and offices for its team of 175 employees.
The launch comes at a pivotal time for the brand, which last year reached a valuation of $4 billion. The opening also consolidates its position following the runaway success of its collaboration with The North Face, which sold out in just five minutes.
