The collaboration between Patta and Nike continues with a new release, the Air Max DN8. Following the “Wave” series on the Air Max 90, the Amsterdam-based brand now presents its take on Nike’s latest model. Last month, Edson Sabajo, Patta’s co-founder, previewed the project. The full design has now been revealed.
The Air Max DN8, introduced this year, features Dynamic Air technology. This is a system of eight pressurised tubes running the full length of the sole to improve cushioning and the sense of movement. Patta applies a design marked by the use of black patent leather on the upper, grey mesh panels, and a perforated leather toe box.
The sneaker includes specific details of the collaboration: a Patta logo on the tongue and on one of the rear Air units, as well as a metal carabiner on the laces. The midsole combines black and silver, with a blue nylon lace loop adding contrast to the overall design.
With a planned release in September, the Patta x Nike Air Max DN8 will be available via Nike SNKRS and selected retailers, with a starting price of $230.
