Nike allies with Stranger Things in retro collection

Coinciding with the return of the popular Netflix show, sportswear giant Nike has teamed up with Stranger Things to create a collection.

The new Nike x Stranger Things collection features three silhouettes: Cortez, Blazer and Tailwind.

It was inspired by the small town of Hawkins (Indiana) in the summer of 1985. Just in that year, Nike began to create their Air designs, which came out two years later along with the iconic silhouette Dunk. The funny thing is that, throughout the show, you can see the characters wearing these retro pieces.

The collection will be on sale in two releases. The first will be on June 27 and will consist of t-shirts and sweatshirts eighty blue and orange with three matching sneakers. The second will go on sale on 1 July, three days before the series returns.
