Alexia Putellas, Caitlin Clark, Sha’Carri Richardson, Sabrina Ionescu or Jordan Chilles are some of the protagonists of the emotional campaign.
An event of the magnitude of the Super Bowl means a great advertising space for brands, who take advantage of the occasion to surprise with their most elaborate and creative proposals. And in this edition, Nike wanted to put the focus on its female athletes through its new campaign ‘So Win’. In this way, it celebrates the growth and visibility of women’s sport, while inviting athletes to continue to overcome their own limits in a 60-second ad loaded with inspiration.
Narrated by the now iconic Doechii, the commercial highlights a cast of elite sportswomen who excel not for their prowess in each of their disciplines, but for the impact they have on society and the fight for equality. They include Caitlin Clark, Sha’Carri Richardson, Sabrina Ionescu, Arena Sabalenka, A’ja Wilson, Jordan Chiles and Alexia Putellas.
‘At Nike, we make sure the athlete is at the centre of everything we do, from product creation to storytelling,’ says Nicole Graham, Nike‘s chief marketing officer. ‘We are at our best when we represent the voice of the athlete and their voice becomes our voice. This brand anthem, starring Nike’s elite athletes, is a perfect example of how we can inspire everyone to win, whatever that means to them,’ she adds.
Taking advantage of the special occasion, the swoosh giant has launched an exclusive line of ‘So Win’ T-shirts, available now on its official website.
