Coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the Amsterdam-based brand and the 15th anniversary of its collaboration with the Swoosh giant.
One of the most coveted versions of the Air Max 1 returns to celebrate the 20-year history of Patta, which was born as a trainer shop and grew exponentially to become what it is today: a multi-faceted brand whose creations and community initiatives reflect the essence of modern sneaker culture.
Launched in 2009, the Chlorophyll has been conquering the world once again, fifteen years later, maintaining the same original essence but elevated with different modern touches. Made in green suede and silver grey, it features a personalised Patta label on the tongue area and an insole with a €20 note design.
‘The original Chlorophyll project was almost like a first album: there was a lot of energy, a lot of ideas and the product was very organic,’ says Guillaume “Gee” Schmidt, co-founder of Patta. ‘With this release, we’re sticking to the essence of the trainer that really stands the test of time. It’s simply an incredible moment to bring back a shoe that is so coveted and loved by the sneaker community and people in general.’
The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Chlorophyll will be available exclusively on pattaxnike.com and in Patta chapter shops from 13 September.
