Nike’s Air Max Scorpion to celebrate ‘Air Max Day’

Nike reinterprets its Air Max Scorpion silhouette in celebration of Air Max Day.

Air Max Day 2023 ended on March 26, but Nike is holding its own unofficial party for a full month of celebration. The Air Max Pulse is the latest release in the line, and the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Big Bubble” headlines past releases.

To mark the event, the Air Max Scorpion silhouette is reinterpreted with the plush side Swoosh on the multicolored fabric of the sneaker, and a chenille blend upper. The translucent white sole is composed of voluminous shapes from which different bright colors peek out. The insole and “AIR MAX 3.26” hangtag include fun prints that nod to the holiday.

The new Nike Air Max Scorpion for “Air Max Day” will arrive at Nike and retailers for $250 in the coming weeks.
