The first musical project by Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s eldest daughter has been in the works for almost a year.
Having immersed herself in the most experimental hip-hop scene, moving between the studios and the streets of New York alongside artists such as Bktherula, Ice Spice, skaiwater and Che, North West is ready to release her debut EP. A studio album brimming with the raw, digital and fast-paced energy that defines today’s rage rap, but this time filtered through the Gen Alpha sensibility of its creator.
Back in February, he surprised us with “PIERCING ON MY HAND”, a sort of official introduction to what’s to come, and although it won’t be included on the EP, it retains that same essence. The new material comprises a total of six tracks – “H0w sh0uld ! f33l”, “D!e”, “#N0rth4evR”, “Th!s tim3”, “W0ah” and “Aishite (愛して)” – and we’re ready to enjoy it.
And speaking of new music… Ariana Grande has announced that her next album will be released on 31 July.
