What started as an exchange of glances and banter at Scrapworld 2023 in Madrid has turned into a collaborative effort between Barcelona-based SSSTUFFF and Madrid’s La Tienda de las Gorras. After a year of exchanging ideas and bringing them to life, SSSTUFFF and La Tienda de las Gorras present a capsule collection comprised of four pieces, accessories and clothing, inspired by childhood games and paraphernalia.
This collaboration pays homage to cherished memories of carefree youth, taking inspiration from the iconic road matsthat once captured our imaginations. Designed to capture the quirky spirit of childhood, the capsule features a detailed print that celebrates the bustling streets and vibrant landscapes we once roamed with our toy cars. From trucker hats to t-shirts, tote bags and a series of six collectible pins, each piece in the collection is infused with elements that evoke nostalgia and joy.
The capsule print is a tapestry of imagination and memory, depicting whimsical locations such as the SSSTUFFF laundry and supermarket, as well as the iconic Caps shop. It also includes detailed scenes of both brands’ hometowns, Barcelona and Madrid, paying homage to the architectural wonders of both cities and adding a layer of cultural significance.
In keeping with SSSTUFFF’s philosophy of interaction and play with the garments, the capsule invites users to interact with their clothes in a new way. As part of the capsule, there are six uniquely designed pins, each representing different characters that can be “played” on the garments. This interactive feature not only serves as an accessory, but also rekindles the joy and creativity of children’s play in our everyday lives.
SSTUFFF x La Tienda de las Gorras will be available on 20/4 at ssstufff.com, latiendadelasgorras.com, and at the SSSTUFFF flagship store in Barcelona and La Tienda de las Gorras in Madrid.
