They say that streetwear is in decline, but the reality is that more and more brands are emerging that promise to change the rules of the game. This month, we introduce you to six new emerging brands that are standing out in the streetwear universe, making it big on social media. Without a doubt, these are the brands you should have on your radar if you’re looking for something fresh and different this November. Read on to discover the most exciting of the month!

1. BAD SON

This brand founded by Hieu Tran and Conner Lobato in 2020, has burst onto the streetwear scene with a really interesting proposal. Specializing in reimagining workwear, its most notable pieces include Carhartt Detroit-inspired jackets and convertible cargo pants. The brand’s popularity has been growing, especially among celebrities like 21 Savage and Jaden Smith. If you like exclusive collections that disappear in seconds, Bad Son is a brand you should follow.

2. HUNI

Mona Thomas has been making waves in the fashion industry with her brand HUNI. With a highly creative approach, Mona uses her cell phone, iMac and a 3D printer to create pieces that look like something out of another world. Although still an emerging brand, her designs have already been seen in people such as Ye, J. Balvin and Lil Nas X, and she has even collaborated with brands like Adidas to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

3. R13

R13 is a tribute to the rebellious style of rock and punk. Founded in 2009, this New York-based brand offers a range of garments from denim to leather, all with a worn-in, timeless aesthetic. Its focus on sustainability, using eco-friendly materials and ethical production methods, has made R13 one of the most prominent brands among fans of contemporary rock-and-roll style. In addition to being modern and bold, R13 is also conscious of the fashion industry’s impact on the environment.

4. Anthony Calydon

In the heart of Le Marais, Paris, is Anthony Calydon’s studio, where the designer and his small team create the pieces that define his eponymous brand. Known for his tracksuit outfits, Calydon has carved a niche for himself in the streetwear world with his signature designs.

5. Nyrva

Founded in 2019 by David Minor, Nyrva emerged as an act of self-improvement. Named after Minor’s daughter, it reflects his personal and unique approach to design. Known for its cow print pants, the brand builds much of its imagery on ’90s nostalgia, drawing inspiration from motocross and vintage fashion. Celebrities such as Roddy Ricch and Lil Baby have been spotted wearing its garments, and NYRVA continues to establish itself as one of the most innovative brands in streetwear.

6. La Fam 

The Fam has grown rapidly since its founding in 2018 by siblings Anna and Renze van Jaarsveld. Based in Amsterdam, the brand focuses on creating an inclusive community and its focus is on unisex garments. Their tagline, “We Start And End With The Fam,” encapsulates their philosophy of creating lasting connections through fashion.
