First launched in 1998 with the help of basketball legend Michael Jordan, Oakley’s unique leather sunglasses marked a before and after in nineties pop culture. Now, more than twenty-five years later, the eyewear brand’s most disruptive design is back.
Next week, the unique variant returns in a limited edition, which has been recreated using a direct metal laser sintering 3D printing process that fuses X-Metal powder into its sculptural form. With leather detailing like the original silhouette, the updated version also features 24K Prizim lenses.
The MUZM Mars X-Metal leather eyewear will launch on Tuesday, November 14 at Oakley flagship shops, online and select retailers.
