The comment came after the stir caused at Coldplay’s concert at Gillette Stadium (Massachusetts) on Wednesday the 16th, when a couple appeared on the screen and looked visibly uncomfortable. Chris Martin said on stage, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
The video went viral and reached the higher-ups. The company Astronomer, where one of those involved worked, announced an internal investigation. Shortly after, CEO Andy Byron was suspended and eventually resigned. His interim replacement, Pete DeJoy, acknowledged that, although it wasn’t the ideal way, everyone now knew who they were.
