Ottolinger’s weekend with his collaboration with Puma and his new collection SS24

Ottolinger sets Paris Fashion Week weekend on fire with his launch with Puma and an explosive and different new collection.

Ottolinger’s weekend with his collaboration with Puma and his new collection SS24

The Ottolinger girls, Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient have had a busy weekend. The creative duo just launched their collaboration with Puma through a most amazing Pop-Up in the middle of Paris. A gift-wrapped Ottolinger monster truck was placed in Le Marais so that everyone could get up close and personal to purchase pieces from the PUMA x Ottolinger collection.

It is undeniable that Ottolinger’s collaboration with Puma has significantly increased the brand’s recognition, so the creation with the sports multinational continues. More pieces appeared in his SS24 fashion show, held in a former bank branch this Sunday afternoon. Among the graffiti-filled walls, models arrived dressed in Puma trompe l’oeil jumpsuits that appeared to have been spray-painted, giving the illusion of cyborg bodies. These creations were joined by executive suits with deconstructed jackets and the spider web fabrics that are already iconic to the brand.

The collection stayed true to the house’s DNA but with a very fresh point that we had not seen for several seasons. With this collection, Cosima and Christa have shown that they know how to do more than just deconstructed cotton looks with straps flying through the air. There were looks in linen, denim, mesh… a fusion of textures that gives dynamism to a collection that will mark a before and after for the brand. The reptile print on the flared pants was made with AI, and together with the tailoring work it was clear on the catwalk that Ottolinger knows how to give us a 24/7 closet, for an all-terrain girl.

The final five bridal-inspired looks also reaffirmed this new facet of Ottolinger. These romantic creations, of which we saw a few glimpses last season, clearly mark a new way of looking at bridal wear, away from the conventional and more interesting for new generations of consumers.

In short, the new Ottolinger SS24 collection shows us a rebellious elegance that we had not yet discovered from the girls from Berlin. Experimentation with unusual fabrics and new designs manages to bring us to a new vision of Ottolinger whose exemplary execution by its designers has won the approval of all fashionistas this season.
