OUR LEGACY and Timberland come together for the first time

The design reinterprets the iconic 6-inch boot.

The result of the collaboration between OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP and Timberland is a joint capsule collection designed to incorporate boots into a contemporary uniform for the outdoors and the city. Taking a conscious look at the past, the brands have built ‘a collection around the formative years of early outdoor aesthetics, combining everyday garments with a weather-resistant jacket and a great pair of sturdy boots’. This is according to Jockum Hallin, co-founder of OUR LEGACY and creative director of WORK SHOP, who confirms that when approaching the Timberland archive, they wanted to ‘amplify its history as outdoor pioneers through the “construction-on-site core” and the heroes of 90s New York rap’.

At the heart of the collection, the iconic 6-Inch Boot has been reinvented without losing its essence. Inspired by the silhouette’s 1970s origins, this version is crafted from premium Horween® leather with a grained finish that adds depth, texture and a vintage character that evolves with wear. The toe cap has been subtly redesigned to modify the profile, refining the proportions while respecting the original strength, while the lace-up construction is completed with an anti-fatigue insole—which guarantees lasting cushioning—and a Vibram® rubber outsole.

Beyond footwear, the collaboration expands to include a uniform based on WORK SHOP‘s own silhouettes, incorporating nods to Timberland®‘s extensive historical archive. The collection includes a durable, year-round jacket made from 60/40 Japanese cotton-nylon residual fabric—a technical fabric with heritage memory—and an iconic cap finished in Italian sheepskin nubuck.
