Palace has once again managed to transcend the boundaries of fashion with its latest collaboration, which unites the irreverent universe of streetwear with the acclaimed anime Death Note. Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata’s legendary series, known for its suspenseful narrative and ethical dilemmas, becomes the epicentre of a limited edition capsule that promises to make its mark at the intersection of visual culture and contemporary fashion.

T-shirts, hoodies, long-sleeved shirts, blouses, and a denim zip-up jacket are presented in a palette that intertwines with Death Note’s most iconic characters: L, Ryuk and Misa. Each piece is redesigned with Palace’s unique vision, creating a visual dialogue between the anime aesthetic and the brand’s street style, where the saturation of graphic detail underlines the philosophical narrative underlying the series.

The denim jacket and matching jeans stand out, pieces that invite a reinterpretation of the classic style through a stonewash that evokes a sense of wear and timelessness. Ryuk’s print, in an oversized format and with finishes reminiscent of watercolour, not only enhances the visual essence of the character, but also places him as the centre of gravity of a proposal where fashion not only seeks to stand out, but also to tell a story.

The capsule will be available exclusively in shops and online from 14 February. Fans in Japan and Korea will be able to access the collection on 15 February, while Chinese consumers will be able to access it via Palace‘s WeChat. This collaboration is not only a tribute to Death Note, but also an affirmation of how streetwear constantly draws from pop culture to project the concerns and aesthetics that define us as a society.
