PALOMO celebrates its tenth anniversary with ‘LIMBO’

Ten years after bursting onto the scene, the designer is embarking on a new phase.

The “LIMBO” collection marks the beginning of a new era and coincides with PALOMO‘s move to Madrid. Presented in lookbook format, it introduces a more realistic, contemporary PALOMO boy and girl, deeply connected to the urban experience. Fantasy is still present, but now it comes from social observation and the pulse of the city.

‘LIMBO’ exists precisely in the space between who we have been and who we are about to become. It is a state of constant transition where we understand the present, yet continue to wonder what comes next.

The collection speaks of presence, of dressing up for no reason, of getting ready to go nowhere, of using fashion as a silent tool of resistance and self-affirmation. All at the same time. And in this new chapter, the brand proposes a more down-to-earth and relatable narrative.

We found a third feminine proposal that consolidates a complete, coherent, and functional wardrobe, designed to accompany you from morning to night. The pieces are precise, intentional, and purposeful.

In terms of materials, “LIMBO” combines printed silks and shiny satins with classic British wools – houndstooth and Prince of Wales – creating a contrast between romanticism and rigour. Added to this are new structured knits that explore asymmetrical silhouettes, bringing a much more technical dimension. Silk fringe, handcrafted in Cantillana, serves as the season’s common thread. A tradition reinterpreted from a contemporary perspective. And the Manila shawl, another cultural emblem, is transformed into a pixelated version.

Leather flowers—a recurring motif in the brand’s imagery—reappear in grey, white, and brown. They feature on brooches and footwear developed in collaboration with Castellanos, reinforcing the narrative of craftsmanship and collaboration. Added to this are tights by Emilio Cavallini and jewellery by Aaron Varon, created in collaboration with PALOMO.
