Under the title ‘La Verbena del Palomo’, the Cordovan designer unveils his latest Made in Spain proposal made up of 15 genderless designs inspired by the summer festivals of southern Spain.
A celebration of originality, signature style and the essence of Mediterranean summer in a selection of seventies-inspired garments with a palette of bright, warm colours, floral prints and asymmetrical cuts. This is how Palomo Spain and Zalando welcome the summer through unforgettable and fun looks designed for modern luxury consumers and fashion lovers with their own bold style.
And what better way to celebrate this launch than with ‘La Verbena del Palomo’, a universe inspired by village festivals where self-expression and young love are the protagonists. A universe of celebrations, music and colours developed through an exciting story starring Amaia Romero and Hugo Arbués, ambassadors of the campaign.
‘It has been a real pleasure to work on a collection that truly reflects the spirit of Palomo Spain and Zalando. As the name suggests, ‘La Verbena del Palomo’ captures the essence of verbenas and the experiences of the summers of youth that characterise them. We want those who wear the garments to feel as if they have been transported to those warm summer nights full of music and celebration surrounded by friends and community,’ says Alejandro Gómez Palomo himself.
All the garments will be available from 10 June and will be unveiled today during the highly anticipated third edition of the Zalando Summer Verbena.
